Enquiry Regarding Avast 4.8 Home Edition

Is there any new version of avast home edition coming up? :)
I am currently using the 4.8 version and man this antivirus is damn good and gives a rock solid protection... ;D
Previously I was using Avira 9, and they claim it to be one of the best, but I say it the worst anti-virus ever which I have used in my life... >:(
Few days back it didn't detect a worm (autorn.inf), which slipped past its detection (inspite of the totally updated virus database) and corrupted all my drives and blocked my access to drives and security centre...
I uninstalled the hopeless avira and installed avast and after that it recommended me to go for a boot time system scan and without the definition file updated it detected all the virus in my PC and cleaned it and now I am having a virus free PC..

Why didn't you like Avira? Maybe avast could improve in these particular things...

I didn't like Avira coz, the detection rate was not good..instead of the program being updated regularly, virus slips pass its detection..
thats the reason why I changed to Avast and found that I have taken the right decision..Also there are some features like network protection and boot time scans are not available...
Also would like to know that will Avast 5 include firewall in the free edition?

I could imagine they also offer the firewall for free... but we have to wait and see  :)
