I'm not entirely sure just how helpful this is.

I use the Firefox Malware Search add-on that is a right click option to search several databases for the selected text.

One of which is the systemlookup.com database, which returns some info http://www.systemlookup.com/search.php?list=&type=clsid&search={4871A87A-BFDD-4106-8153-FFDE2BAC2967}.

So it is possible to do a search on the fly so to speak (select the text and right click) without having to copy and paste the search string, use your bookmark, go to a site paste the search string and then search.
