An Avast update just came out to fix this problem.

I use the avast version 4.8.1335 the update dialog says no update needed but AnyDVD is still recognized as a Trojan.

Check your file version  (current version 090410-0) .

Yes thats my version (date April 10th) - but AnyDVD didn't install and work anymore.

Ok , then close/shut down Avast  . Click on the Anydvd icon to re-start the program (should fire up now) .Then restart Avast .

For WHS Server mine still shows  4.8.257 after multiple4 updates & SLOWWWWW reboots.  Still broken.

I have just updated Avast then went to anydvd downloaded the new update and all is well, thanks for the swift fix Avast, much peace and many blessings to you all, you do a great job.
