Can you download avast from other computer and try to install to see what you get?
If you're infected and can't install avast, post back and we can try to help.
i cannot download from another computer as this is the only one i have. i am trying to download a different rootkit at this time to see if i can get it.its called sophos antirootkit.i only have dialup so it takes a little while. will let u know what the outcome is
