Good Catch AVAST

 ;D Hi I logged onto the net today Avast updated it self then 30 sec later I opened outlook express and guess what avast jumped on the Win32:BugBear-B well done avast.

Kanga,

Yes, Avast does a great job.  It found 2 viruses that were in my old email from 2 yrs ago from an old Netscape program.
Avast can give you an occasional false positive, but at least it make your hair stand up once in awhile to take notice. hahahaha

Try to do a full system scan now and then, and set Avast to do Archives as well.

If your curious about a virus (or alarm) Avast gives you,
right click on the main skin, go to the Virus Database, and search the file for the virus by name.  It will tell you the type, and what is infected.

Any questions about a particular "alert".....come here and ask.
