You can't.
Only on avast 5.1 version you could have this feature for 64 bits. Nowadays, it's not available.

Hi asdasmos,

Welcome to the forum.

No need to pay anything.

The issue is this. As Tech pointed out,
Boot-time scanner is available on 32bit WinNT/2000/XP/Vista for avast Home (free) and Professional.

As you are well aware since you have a 64-bit computer (and supposedly a 64-bit Operating system such as XP 64-bit or Vista 64-bit) older applications (software) were developed for the 32-bit systems which were and still are the standard. However with the growth and development of 64-bit Platforms, software vendors will develop software for it.

In this case avast offers the same protection on the 32-bit and 64-bit with the exception of the boot-time scan. When Version 5.1 will be released, the boot-time scan will be avvailable on the 64-bit architecture as well.
Computer Systems:

Intel Pentium 4 641 / 2GB RAM / Vista Home Basic SP2 / avast! 5.0 Home / SAS Free / MBAM Free / Windows Defender / Windows Firewall / Spyware Blaster/ Secunia PSI / Firefox 3.6 / Opera 10.5

Core2Duo T8300 / 4GB RAM / Vista Home Premium SP2 (32 bit version) / Same Software.
