ball in taskbar gone

The blue avast! ball in the taskbar is suddenly gone.  How do I bring it back?
I'm running xp.

Same thing happened to me when I installed the latest version.  The ball came back when I rebooted.

I still haven't gotten the ball back. (I'm not running yahoo messenger either and that seemed to be the problem with other people).  Any suggestions?

Did you already tryed to 'repair' your avast installation (Control Panel)?
You can uninstall/boot/install/boot too... Will it work for you?  ::)
