Firewall problems
« on: May 11, 2004, 05:26:39 AM »
I have been using sygate firewall but since getting the new version of avast have been unable to do the updates..the firewall is acting as if it is blocking the update site. So decided to uninstall it and try outpost. Now I get a message coming up saying I am running tiny personal firewall and it is not advisable to run the two together that it will cause blue screens and crashing. Which it did, but the problem is I am NOT running tiny personal firewall. Can someone help me out on this I do not want to be stuck without a firewall. I could try zone alarm again, originally I had probs with it with xp.

Sorry to waste your time, I have solved the problem. I reinstalled sygate and everything is working perfectly, getting the updates etc. Still confused about supposedly running tiny personal firewall. If anyone could she any light on that it would be appreciated.
