Needed Registration Key WAY Before Expiring...

I got my key within the past 6 months for Home.  Today I got the popup that it was about to expire.

Is this the reason?  In my spare time I do virus removal and hook up other people's laptops and towers.   I have installed Home on their computers from my Internet connection - with instructions to register their free product when they get the popup.

Soon after I hooked my tower back up, I got a popup to renew.

I am NOT trying to share a free Home version, but just helping other people get familiar with Avast.

Check your system date, day, month and year, adjust as required.

What doe the about avast, updates expiry date say the expiry date is ?

I recently ran ComboFix, and that may be part of the issue.   I didn't even think to check the information in the box after I clicked on the red popup.   I just got another key.

Right now I have another laptop to work on, so if I get the same issue I will check it and post.

Though many people run combofix from time to time and I haven't heard anything of it impacting on the avast registration.
