Hi malware fighters,

Glad to announce the issue was settled with this NoScript update: http://noscript.net/?ver=1.9.2.6&prev=1.9.2.4
The user is now prompted and this may settle the issue for the users of ABP, and an official apology from the maker of NoScript was added,

And do not be afraid that NoScript would not do the right thing, the security savvy users of NoScript keep an eye out to ensure that on the NoScript forum, and pol is one of them,

Use NoScript, a limited user account and a virtual machine and be safe(r)!

Yup.  Everything is OK now.  As David posted, the current version of NoScript abandons the idea of adding a whitelisting filterset to Adblock Plus, and removes any changes it might have made in a previous version.  Giorgio Maone, it's developer, has posted an apology here:
http://hackademix.net/2009/05/04/dear-adblock-plus-and-noscript-users-dear-mozilla-community/

And EasyList is still explicitly targeting the NoScript site and its siblings.  What will happen the next time EasyList breaks Giorgio's web sites?  One thing for sure, next time it happens Giorgio won't try to fix the problem on his own by modifying just the part of Adblock Plus which messes up just his web sites.  That was a big mistake last time.  I bet he'll ask for some help next time it happens.
