Infected scanner
« on: May 13, 2004, 05:05:27 AM »
Well, Im stumped.

So far, Avast has been the best virus scanner I have used, bar none.
Between it, and a semi-working version of DOS still buried in windows, I can get rid of pretty much anything.

I have been trying to rid myself of the win32revop trojan for about 2 weeks now. It shows up, my scanner will delete it, but its there again the next day.

I don't use system restore, have it turned off. The problem now is, the butt-sniffer has infected my Avast scanner! Obviously it won't repair a file that is in use, as access is denied. I'm open to any useful suggestions.
