avast as AV provider on windows pages

i just installed the Win7 RC and nicely as it becomes ms asked me to look for an AV solution and provided me with a page (actualy several but for vista and xp too)

it would be nice to get avast in that list too.....?

I think you have to pay for that privilege ;D

Edit: according to the avast home page, avast is a Microsoft Gold Certified Partner, so I don't know what the difference is in those listed on those links.

    ;) good anti virus like Avira antivir and our favorite  Avast are not there.

 hmmmmmm, why are those A/V are compatible with Windows7 ? :o

Because Avast isn't kissing M$'s a$$?  We all know that Avast has been working fine with the Windows 7 betas and I think the RC as well, so, as nice it would be for Avast to be listed as one of the "suggested" A/V products, we'll just have to deal with not being on their "special" list.  :(

I just upgraded from the last Win7 beta to the RC release.
Avast! was part of the old Win7 version and is now happily protecting the Latest beta Win7 RC release. :)
