Install without connection to the web?

I have been up 2 nights trying to get a virus off my sister's comp and I pulled some basic protection from the web and burned it to disk to install. Moving the file to her HD, it dosen't set up due to the DL requires contact to the site. I don't want to risk a connection without getting the protection set up first. Is there a possible way to achieve this?

Read the instructions, download and burn (maybe from another computer), finally use one of this rescue CD's:
1. Avira
2. Kaspersky
3. BitDefender
4. F-Secure
5. Dr. Web
