At least, Symantec recognizes the 'bug' or lack of protection and try to correct it. We cannot hate a software just becouse the bugs they have or you will have to hate every software.
Anyway, I agree, avast is better than NAV 8)

Which interface?
avast has skins and NAV not, avast Professional version has Windows Classic appearance...
Man, I cannot see any advantage in NAV appearance compared to avast  :o

YO, jam-computers; Hate, is a strong word.  I have used NAV and firewall for a long time.  I simply was tired of looking at it and wanted to try out something new.   I never doubted its effectiveness. However, I am pleased with AVAST! and have scanned my computer using other scanners and it never has virus's on it.  So this is my new home.

P.s How do you get to be a guest? I didn't see a guest option on the register page.

Hello,

I came back here to see why I have been recieving emails from forum members.

I see now that I left my email address behind.  I am not here to point fingers, those responsible know who they are and why I have moved on.

Technical, I read your post and want you to know that you are not the reason.

Since this is my officially last post here.  I want to say thank you to the people who cared, and Goodbye.
