Auto updates or stand alone VPS files

Hi I am using the Avast Bart CD and wondered if there is any way to automate the download of VPS files for the Bart CD. Or download the vps files seperately.
I notice when you run the CD there is an option to point to an alternative location for the VPD database.
Is there any way to regularly update the bart cd virus definitions without creating and buring a new ISO everytime?

if you have the bart cd burned you can also update the files live on the cd (tho its temporary) it does require you to have the computer hooked up to internet tho (which in turn is discussable with an infection)

How do you do this. I have booted from the Bart CD, started networking but can't see an update definitions option anywhere.
Thanks in advance.

I think you need to update within Windows, create the ISO and boot...
