I'd say you are using an operating system where the boot-time scanner is not supported.

Well, it's not "bad"... but the boot-time scan is not supported on 64bit operating systems at the moment - so there's no way you can schedule it, I'm afraid.

I don't know whether it's technically possible to have the 64bit OS scanned at boot via the XP installation, but what I can say is that unless there is suspected (or actual) malware that is resisting detection/removal during normal scanning, there is little point in running a boot scan.
Windows 10,Windows Firewall,Firefox w/Adblock.

wel sometimes i cant remove a virus or as such because it wat already running. so with a bootscan it can't run and can be deleted.s

If you have a dual boot system, I'd say it's better to scan the first operating system from the second one (and vice versa) - than to perform a boot-time scan. The ordinary windows scanner is a bit more complex - and if you run it from another operating system, it's better than a boot-time scan on the same OS (provided the other OS is not infected as well, of course).
