silent operation

Hi, i am new to avast and wonder if it can be run in a "silent" mode.

What do i mean?
I get lots of email with viruses. I do not want to be warned about everyone an asked what to to. I just want them to be erased permanently.  Just like i was used to by norton antivirus 2004.

Where can i enable this mode in avast pro 4.01?

i'm not too sure about the pro version...but for the home version...you can change these options from the resident shield settings....click on the 'a' icon in your system tray...internal mail...customise..

try and see if the options are there in the pro version

found a howto surfing the forum.

i used the wrong search terms before ;)
