I hope I spelled it correctly.
I am thinking about getting a router how does AVAST HOME EDITION perform with wi fi?
I am running XP Home Edition.

Your AV has no bearing on your router and vice versa.

Avast! won't notice any difference and you shouldn't notice any difference with avast!

I have both Avast and Wi Fi and have never experienced any problems.

Also, if you already have a wired network, there is no need for wireless unless you want to walk around with a laptop and still have a connection to your network and the internet.

If not, keep the wired network. It's faster and less problematic.
