SQL SP4/ADNM causing network slowness?
« on: May 27, 2009, 06:10:07 AM »
Since installing MS SQL 2003 SP4 my network has been extremely slow. SQL is not heavily used. I'm suspecting that since this SQL SP was loaded after Avasts ADNM that it may be causing the slowness of my network.

Has anyone else seen this? Can I reinstall or repair install ADNM to remedy this? Must ADNM be uninstalled before attempting to reload it?

adnm has to be uninstalled before u reinstall it... just make sure u have a copy of the database so u can restore that to the new installation

It turned out that someone SPOOFED one of my end users. It caused the Exchange virtual server to grind to a halt. Thanks for the info though.
