Hi all i did talking with a friend about mac if he can have virus and he telled me no so i wanna know if its can have some virus on a mac and if yes then give me a proof for when he read this topic to see it.

It is not impossible for a Mac to get a virus, but it is unlikely. However you can pass windows viruses on to other windows users although they will not infect your machine.

Yeah but why Avast! got a anti virus for mac ? For fun ? I think if they got a anti virus for mac then its mean you can have virus right ?

Well, as Mac stated, it's not impossible to get a virus on a Mac.  Yes there are some, which is why there is a Mac version of Avast, and many other A/V products.

As the Mac's Market share grows there may be more malware threats for the Mac, hence Avast developed the Mac version. Its also detects Windows Viruses, so should you get a Windows virus in a email you will not pass it onto a friend running Windows.

Wanna have MacOS virus? Honestly, the MacOS X system, under the hood, is quite insecure. It's only lack of VX writter's attention what causes this platform to be (seemingly) virus-free. It's simply NOT true, and the situation started to change in past few years.

Just a thing does these sites you giving to me are safe and without virus ? Because i reading the felinemenace.org and i did see something on it that made me scare.

So any respond please ? I did scanned my pc with avast and my second scanner and they no find anything so the website felinemenace was safe or no ? I did clear my internet temp too :)

yes, all those sites are, AFAIK virus-free. but yes, they are maintained by those guys that are active VX writters :).
