how can i remove this "BV: Malware-gen"..???

please help me.. the
file name: C:\WINDOWS\pc-off.bat
Malware name: BV:Malware-gen
Malware type: Virus/Worm
VPS version: 090528-0, 05/28/2009

is always occuring on my screen..

i think it started when i insert my brother's flash drive on my cpu..

i can't delete it on my avast 4.8..

i did alloptions on my avast but stil i cant totally remove it..

pls help..

Hi zacq02, welcome to the forum.
Without the full path and original file name, I can only offer help based on searching the internet for this.
I would recommend a boot scan with Avast, or you could try a manual removal (including the flash drive) by having a look at these sites:
