Troj/JSRedir-R;Gumbler Virus
« on: June 02, 2009, 05:11:16 AM »
This is a new trojan that came out and I was wondering if avast had an update to protect us from this new Trojan? According to the report I read it is being found six times more often then it's rival, Mal/Iframe-F virus. It primarily infects websites, hidden behind obfuscated JavaScript, loading malicious content from third-party sites without the user's knowledge. Please inform me about this Trojan and if possible whether or not it is being protected by avast as soon as possible, so that I may inform my customers about it. Thank You.

Well, avast was the first AV who detect this infection. We are catching it as JS:Redirector-HX (gumblar) and JS:Redirector-JX (martuz) (X stand for number).
