what will happen whit the suppor for the new windows server 2008 ???

If you don't have some experience with the server edition, please pm somebody about the rules about posting, and only post relevant information about the topics.
But I use Windows 2008 RC0 x64 with the avast server edition 4.7 to test avast in a professional way.

So the server edition works fine till now on 2008 and will test it fully next week.
If you need aditional information or test data, please let me know and I can test it.

I also need anti-virus software for WS 2008 X64 Edition on an HP ML150 G5 with 4 core Intel Xeon E5405. The info on the Avast Web Site does not specifically mention this configuration. Does anyone have any formal confirmation that this is supported

This may help.  I beat my head bloody and then got it to work.  I documented my steps in my blog.
