Scanning Details?

Using Avast Free Home Edition.
When scanning a particular file, the program performs the scan, then the screen disappears without showing me the results of the scan.
How do I configure the program to show a final scan result?

That's why it is called a Quick scan, if everything is good it disappears and you get on with your work, if it is infected all hell breaks loose and you will know ;D

Many of us however, are as inquisitive as you and like to see the results, which you now know how to set.

Well, as a member of one of the larger economies on the planet, you could maybe vote in a leadership that's actually a true leader rather than a corrupt political official with fingers in every pie. Someone who doesn't stand to gain a personal fortune by starting another war, someone who actually sees that an entirely new paradigm is necessary in many areas, not just finance.
