Fake Microsoft patches themed malware campaigns spreading

Researchers from Computer Associates and Sophos are reporting on three currently active malware campaigns using fake Microsoft patch themes as a social engineering tactic to spread over email.

Nothing new there then, fake security patches have been around for many, many, years.

Another day another attempt to con users into this type of thing.

If you use the update function available within Windows, then you wouldn't get fooled
by one of these scams.
