Avast date of last scan is futuristic!
« on: June 20, 2009, 08:22:32 AM »
Hello,
For the past few weeks, i have received a daily alert from windows security saying my avast virus definition might be out of date.
My computer clock gives the right date but i have noticed that my avast antivirus says that my last scan was done 19 July (a month away!). I guess this is why windows 'thinks' my antivirus is out of date.
How do i correct this please?
Thank you!

I suggest you check your system date and clock because it's most probably set wrong.

My computer clock was set right.
There was a problem with my license key. I had to uninstall my antivirus and re-install.
All's sorted now. Thanks
