Hello, I am not sure where to post this, as I am a new member here, so please point me in the correct direction.
I am writing on behalf of a friend who is having serious issues with her Avast! She said the registration expired, and I directed her to get a new key for it...she did that and entered it in the proper place but her blue ball icon with the *A* on it has a red circle witha line through it.....she has tried to unistall but gets an a strage error message when she tries to uninstall. I cannot remember the name of the error...sorry...anyway she wants to uninstall so she can do a clean download/reinstall....what can we do to alleviate the problem??? Mind you, she is NOT computer literate
and messes things up as easy as doing them right... I do what I can to help her...
