How Does Resident Protection Notify of a Threat?
« on: June 22, 2009, 10:27:12 PM »
So far I haven't received any notices that a threat was detected so I guess I'm fortunate in that regard. :)  But I was wondering what to expect if Resident Protection does detect something. Are there notification options that can be modified for this feature?

Thanks!

Put your earplugs in and try this link - Web Shield Test - http://www.eicar.org/download/eicar.com, this is a harmless test file which contains a signature recognised by all AV so you can test that the AV is actually running and what the alert would be like.

Whilst this pop-up is different you will get the idea, see image I have just visited that link.
