WHS showing definitions not up to date
« on: June 28, 2009, 07:33:24 AM »
So purchased the Avast WHS + Pro licence and got everything installed. The PC's show that the definitions is not up to date. But everything is up to date as far as I can tell. Is this a glitch? Both windows and WHS is showing that PC's are not up to date. Any ideas on how to fix this?

I'm not well versed on WHS, but a reboot usually fixes things like this.  Try that, and report back.  Hopefully it helps.

Yes, they are all sync'ed correctly. WHS is still showing all the PC's have firewall off, which is not true, we have enabled Windows firewall and all definitions have been manually updated. Is this a known glitch?

Looks like Avast itself is showing up as Out of Date inside Windows Vista even though it has been manually updated. I can see yesterday's date in the definitions. That is why WHS is reporting it as such. Anyone else figure this one out?
