You don't have to put that inside your text to make avast! better looking. avast! is so good even without mentioning it... if someone likes to change skins, he will find download section... no big deal at all...

I'm not very good in writing texts, so I'll leave it to you guys...

Make them want out avast!, make them want it so bad...

Yeah, but this text will end up on MS page where the SP2 security center will take you if you'd have no AV installed. We should somehow write the best stuff of avast! so others could say, this is it by just reading that text. I can try to add skinning, but this would be the last thing to add i guess. Everything good about avast! was already written. Ok i'll go back to work ;)

RejZor...this is very good!
Thank you so much for adding the support information as I know it will be lesss intimidating to new users.

Just one suggestion, please? instead of,  "starting from" use '"starting with our..."  jmo, of course!

Thank you for your hard work...

thanks for including my little suggestion ;D

just a another observation...and I mean no offense, ok?
change incrimental to incremental ( and I have to use a dictionary all the time! and English is my native language ;))
and, possibly, after "optical drives, ..." drop the , and use "which provides high security against viruses, worms, trojans and even spyware."

RejZor, it's really very good text. You have done a good job with this!

Ok... it's my turn again...

I'm here for something else, but I'm sure Vlk won't see this, and of course it will just stay just one more crazy idea made by me...

If it's so important (and it is) how should that text look like on Microsoft web site ( http://www.microsoft.com/security/partners/antivirus.asp ), I think that LOGO is also very very important... Alwil logo is great, no commnets, but on that site, it just looks so simple and naked... of course comparing to other products listed on that site...

Here are two examples... first one is old, and second one was made by me. I would be really happy to see that logo on that site one day...

Please Alwil, presentation and first impress is very important. We don't want avast! to look cheap on Micorosoft web site... if you care about that, you'll consider my version of logo as possibility.

Thanks in advance !

First - original logo that should be replaced with new one (IMHO):

OK, this is my version, and I think it should stay proud in there (btw, it's not too big, I measured everything, few other logos on Microsoft antivirus listing are 120x120 pixels too):

Hehe you won't belive, but i thought about this too and i think you'd be the one who'd make the best logo :)
Current one looks to small compared to Trend Micros which coughts your attention...

Yours looks nice, but what if it would be a big "a" ball style?
Something like this one, just with Alwil Software text or with avast! text. Simplistic and very recognizable. Just my 0,0002 euro ;)

No, no... I just didn't want to touch original Alwil logo, and it should be original Alwil logo. We can not change originality of  logotype... it's just not fair to designer of that logotype. I just gave my little touch and redesigned it without changing original form.

Letter "a" inside ball is not logo at all. It's just avast! icon and it stands for avast!, not for Alwil. Those pictures on Microsoft site represents company name, not product name. No hard feelings, but I think we should stick to original logo form.

What about just enlarging current one?
Or is this one ok? I found it under Company menu.

Sasha, that is a great design!
I think between RejZor's text and your design--we have a winning combination 8)

If we just enlarge it, we didn't do anything big. We need presentation, better presentation. I think that picture I posted really presents Alwil in very good professional light... if not, just forget it guys...

People are like bees... if something is sweet and colorful it's for sure more interesting than something black/white... of course it shouldn't be too colorful...
