Multi-Tasking Problem (Blue Screen of Death)
« on: June 20, 2009, 09:43:10 AM »
I need some kind of help here. Everytime I'm multi-tasking, like downloading using torrents while watching videos while downloading from the internet browser, and a lot more, I always get a blue screen of death, then it restarts. Also in gaming, while im downloading something from the net, while waiting for it, I tend to play, then while playing, I get that blue screen of death again. How do I fix this?

Comp Specs:

Intel(R) Core(TM)2 Quad CPU Q8200 @ 2.33Ghz (4 CPUs)
2048MB RAM
NVIDIA GeForce 9800 GT 1Gig
HD Audio Rear Output 2 VIA Technologies

When a bluescreen occurs, the corresponding minidump file should be created in Windows\Minidump folder.
Can you supply a recent one?

In XP/Vista, there are useful information into Control Panel > Administrative Tools > Events, specially 'Errors', can you post the error number of the BSOD? Something like 0x00000000 (just that instead of zeros, could have numbers and letters).

The dump shows a memory corruption inside rohanclient.exe process... but where/how it occurred, I don't know.
I'm afraid that's a question for somebody more experienced with dumps than me...

@Tech

The Minidump was when the BSOD occured right? Since the minidump I uploaded is on 6/20/2009, the error log in the "Events" should be in the same date right? Problem is, the latest date in the errors list is 6/19/2009. Since I dont know alot on these errors, I'll just upload a picture of my error logs..and somethings not right lol. There's ALOT of errors. take a look:

somehow the pictures are useless, but I found the 0x00000000 thing Tech was looking for..here:

0x00000050 (0xE3FF474, 0x00000000, 0x00000000, 0x00000001)

This is the one I found on the blue screen of death.

Besides Google 0x00000050 also you can use:

Ok. I've been reading a lot on other forums, even memtest86 technical info..

Here's the zip file of the recent minidump, and a pic of the dxdiag of my comp specs.

EDIT:

I ran Memtest86 just a while ago, and it only lasted 4mins..and there were 2 errors on Test 5..Here's a pic:

what does this mean? lol.
