The AAVM subsystem detected an RPC error!

I've already read a topic or two about this problem here and I couldn't find if the problem's users are solved or not. So I started again.

I got this message "The AAVM subsystem detected an RPC error" and others from a log such as

aswServ::AavmStart ERROR...
AAVM - initialization error: AavmStart: avworkInitialize failed, 0000A438.
AAVM: VPS load failed, trying to get a fresh copy...
aswChestInterface - Program error description: CChestListView::OnCreate() !m_strErrorWnd.IsEmpty().
aswChestInterface - Program error description: CChestListView::LoadFiles() chestOpenList() failed: 1723.
Error in aswChestC: chestOpenList Error 1723. 
Error in aswChestC: chestAddFile Error 1723.

This information located in log event.

I'm deep sure thats impossible to remove some AV such as AVG from a computer, even you have a master programming degree. Its only possible if you have a previous full backup without AVG. I don't know if it's happen with avast. Anyway as I said I got this message and I'm a little stubborn  and decided to solve it.

No way. I had had problems with many windows applications but I never found one that gives me this at this point an unreasonable problem.

I tried all the solutions except "format" my HD.

Repair Avast
Set automatically in services (if not)
Remove Avast from windows AND with Avast remove tool
Lot of boots between this operations
Avast clean install (if it's possible)
Edit register by my own risk and remove ALL references from Avast
Restore register from a previous backup file (before Avast installation)



Some error all the time. So I was thinking what program may cause this conflict? No previous AV installation and the only software with security purposes is comodo firewall (no Comodo AV instalation). I'm really lost and  I don't have a hint to solve my problem.

Two question

1) I can use Avast without   "resident protection" and how it's affect my security.
2) There's a list of applications are incompatible with Avast?

Without the resident protection you're not protected at all.
Did you install the antivirus part of the Comodo suite?

The only incompatible applications with avast are other antivirus.

No, I'm not install comodo AV. But if I have done that seems to me that's impossible to remove and install avast? As I wrote in AVG case I know thats no way to remove.

Any hints are welcome.

It could help.

I suggest an installation from the scratch:

1. Uninstall avast from Control Panel first.
2. Boot.
3. Download the latest version of Avast Uninstall and use it for complete uninstallation. If, for any reason, you can't run it, try booting in Safe Mode and doing it from there.
4. Boot.
5. Download, save and install the latest avast! version. It will be good to accept the boot time scanning on next boot.
6. Boot.
7. Check and post the results.

All steps done, and same error.
I give up 
Anyway believe me .... it's impossible to remove AVG from any computer. Just made a register copy after that install AVG and use remove toll. So compare both files and you'll find a large data difference  in keys and many other items. 
If you do the same with Avast and  I've done that you'll find the same. Even using "removal tool" some parts of software still remains. I really don't know how this cause interference with new instaltion or new AV software. At least but not least seems to me that's a hard job change AV software.

My mother was born in Brazil, and teach me some Portuguese, but I had had problems with verbs transpositions, nouns and verb tenses. She said that it's good, but I don't think so. She was near me at this time and check my sentence.  No errors at all

Even using "removal tool" some parts of software still remains.

If you're referring to registry keys, take note that some of them are removed automatically by Windows, like the ones on:
