Submitted viruses

I was curious to know what people's experience was with viruses or suspicious files they had submitted to avast. Were they added to the signatures? Or did people find that the submission was not acted upon.

The experience varies from user to user, from malware to malware submitted.
Sometimes they're fast (specially with false positives), sometimes they take to long for us, user, to be happy.
We're always longing for a better submission process.
