i am not quite sure if i got thses in the right order i saw all of that just not sure what comes before the other  i thing they are just the picture {icon} of what was there at one time can i just delete them?


will i type in the name  {Exterminate} in the search after i click start 2 things came up and i right click and click on file location and it pulled up this

AppData Local Opera Opera profile image and there are many many many things in there

when i typed it in thses are the 2 things i saw

i think this is a folder this is the name i see

AppData Roaming Microsoft 

Windows Recent. in it there is

a square that look like the avg

icon. is the name i can see this

2Ffree.a... the date was

7/17/2009 3:29 AM shortcut

2KB.  where it starts off right

my the picture of the square

that look like the avg square

and above where it is http

above it is wrote name date

modifed type size tag. i do not

know what it is or why it is

there  but it look like the avg

icon can i just delete it. it is

just and icon that look like it

is avg icon

No need to delete those.
There's nothing in a program files folder for exterminate it!, then?
Do you have Asquared installed? (Or been to the emsisoftware website)?

 I  copy pasted this name in the start search and got nothing and i do not reconized either of the name's do you want me to pull up the site and see if i remember it or not Asquared emsisoftware

No, that's OK.
The "recent" folder only contains shortcuts.
You probably wouldn't even be able to delete any of them.

The point is, "extermite it" appears to not be on your computer. Though how it got there in the first place has to remain one of life's mysteries.

the only i can think of is back when i downloaded the rogue my mistakes that some times certain things tag along with out you knowing it. i am glad it is nothing to worry about the computer is still working like a champ and it has been on for 2 days in a row. thanks for tour help once again

Ah, yes. They are a reputable company making security software, including Asquared free, Mamatu, Asquared Antimalware.
Sort of along the same lines as MalwareBytes, or Superantispyware. Been in the business quite a while. Very well respected, I would say.

Last time I used A-squared it had too many false positives for my use.

Me too. Also, bad (dangerous!) registry cleaning restore (failed miserably).
