set avast to auto detete
« on: May 23, 2004, 08:43:33 PM »
'm just starting to use avast ( freeware \version)

I'd like it to be able toauto quarrantine/delete the infected files it finds. In the default install, it stops dead, and asks what to do (delete is what I want)

Any clue ast to what switch I'm missing

I have gone to avast>settings> confimations> and unchecked everything... stil it asks

TIA

This is a well know issue...
Automatic procedure is only available at Professional version.
In Home version you can only automate 'sending to Chest': on settings, Silent Mode > No (as default answer).

Wellcome to forums  ;)
