Interesting but I have a feeling some of the links it provides are not all that good.

Does that mean you've tested them ???

( The website comes up clean in all of the link scanners. Unless you have proof, please, please,
do NOT make accusations agains any website.  :'( )
Reputations are very hard to build and very easily destroyed.  :'(

I remember when I was using Iobit defrag, and triled their Advanced System Care,
I had a few problems with the settings of the latter,(not problems with the software, just understanding it),and their tech guys were very nice.
Avast users understand how important a helpful Forum/Support team is,and these guys seem pretty good.

IObit Security 360 was just updated to Beta version 2.2

A system restart will be required after the program update.
Enjoy. :)

good point... I didn't check all the links and to be clear when I said "not all that good" I was referring to spam. There are some search engines that look more like spammers than anything. Of course this doesn't mean anything and you are right bob. I shouldn't make baseless accusations. I apologize for that  :'(

It was not my intention in any way, shape, or form. I was just overthrown by the sheer quantity of various search engines that I was in denial (Excuses, excuses, excuses...). :-[

That's another reason why I am glad I don't use Avira any more.

The many False Positives that it has and they refuse to admit that is not malware because they say so and won't be swayed.

If you search on Flash_Disinfector that has been recommended here countless times as a protector for USB sticks and try to download it then run it Avira will declare it malware is another.

Hmmm...what should I say?  Avira, for better or for worse, tends to be quickest in warning the user.  It may be crying wolf but the occasions are rather rare, which is, at least, in my case.  When I'm sure its false positive, I simply let it exempt the file in question.  It's still at the level of better safe than sorry to me.  After all, I guess it's all pros and cons.

PS O.K. I see it's rather off topic.

Is it good enough?

it's Avira Black list of bad urls, not AV engine, but, anyway Avira has its own fans because high detection rate so it block even "suspecion" files too. only 100% files are allowed!!
you may don't believe me, in the files I am using, avast! had much more false positive, also avast! had much more missed samples, Avira had less false positive and better detection, I used both for a long time.

I run it in conjunction with avast! They seem to work well together. :)

The question is:
For How Long ???

They aren't designed to work together. Sooner or later, you'll run into a problem.
