I have already reported this issue several times through Avast itself and yet this file is still detected as a worm.

Quote
Sign of "Win32:Kuang2" has been found in "C:\Program Files\PCPitstop\AV\Pavdll.dll" file.

This is a valid dll file by Panda Antivirus Online Scanner.

Thanks. :)

Thanks for the info, I have already added it to the exclusions, but still the Standard Shield keeps popping up notifications, is there any way to stop this?
I want to keep this Online Scanner as a backup for on-demand scans.

Thanks. :)

If you want a on demand scanner, malwarebytes is a good choice.

Looks like you either didn't enter the right path and file name (and there may also be others files) and or you also didn't include it in the standard shield if this subsequent detection happened outside of an on-demand scan.

What path and file name did you enter in the program settings, exclusions ?

It should be in both lists the exclusions lists:
Standard Shield, Customize, Advanced, Add
and
Program Settings, Exclusions (right click the avast ' a ' icon).

Personally I would use another on-line scanner, there are more than you can shake a stick at and they don't dump unencrypted signature files in the system folders. On-line Virus Scanners and other useful Links Security-Ops.eu.tt
