I have all the providers set to high. And I'll surely keep them all active. Thank you.

I think setting all providers to high is a) overkill and b) for some it doesn't actually do anything.

I have the Web Shield and Internet Mail set to High, the Standard Shield can have performance impact in scanning every file, even those not considered a risk, when Normal covers those where there is a greater risk.

For the most part the sensitivity slider in the other shields is cosmetic as there are no underlying increases in functionality/customisation.
Windows 10 Home 64bit/ Acer Aspire F15/ Intel Core i5 7200U 2.5GHz, 8GB DDR4 memory, 256GB SSD, 1TB HDD/ avast! free 24.5.6116 (build 24.5.9153.762) UI 1.0.808/ Firefox, uBlock Origin, uMatrix/ MailWasher Pro/ Avast! Mobile Security

Normal is the best balance between performance and protection.
