I'm currently using avast! on 2 systems running Windows 7 RC.
It works well and is recognized by Microsoft. :)
Hope that helps

Fully compatible (if there isn't any other antivirus installed as usual).

Hi John,
This is the wrong place to ask. We are all prejudice here in favor of avast!. :)
Seriously, in my opinion it's excellent in most aspects and their web scanning is a comfort to have while surfing.
I'm a Symantec convert and avast! has kept my systems clean for more than 5 years.

Welcome to the forum. :)
