Please do NOT put parental controls on avast!
« on: August 16, 2009, 05:34:01 PM »
First off, I am heavily against them as I think it is the parents job to monitor their kid's usage.
We do not need one more company jumping on the boat for parents to just install and forget.
Please make the parents go spend the money on some piece of crap like net nanny or something for "Mommy's little Angels who would never hurt a fly and NEVER go to a porn site on purpose"

For god sake if you do incorporate them please only do it on the paid editions of avast.

Who said that they are, there has been nothing mentioned ?

Even if they did (1) it would be a function that would be oof by default and users if they needed it would toggle it on, 'they aren't crazy.'

Even if they did (2) I would imaging this would be in a paid for version of avast and once again, I haven't heard any talk of this.
