i have been using avast for about 2 weeks now and i love it, but nearly everyday this happens, i cant download mail, it keeps coming up with log in box and its driving me crazy, it just wont let me get my mail, can anyone give me any ideas as too why its doing this and how i can stop it   ;D

What mail program do you use ? What error message do you see when you click Cancel in Login dialog ?
Anyway, send me please the file C:\Program Files\ALWIL Software\Avast4\Data\log\aswMaiSv.log.

Hi

Would you believe it hasnt happened again today since i posted about it.......as soon as it happens again i will post what the error says........by the way i'm using outlook express 5 and am running windows me.........when the error does happen again which it will do i will send you the data/log file.......Thank you once again
