I've tried GIMP and paint.net and I like GIMPs layering better. It seems easier and more like Fireworks to me.

Like? Not actually. Just found that site a few minutes ago and currently trying it right now. In contrast, the portable is significantly, lighter, faster, and of course, portable. But on the otherhand, lacks some things that I want, portable version is pretty limited, almost like the backbone of the program itself only.

That's what I found funny... I tried one of the portable apps u suggested in some other topic... n found it a bit... uncomfortable to use... :)
N since I don't have to continually switch computers, I can do without them...

PS just a question... can portable apps be used on both windows n some other OS?

Portable? Before? Could it be Firefox Portable?

From what I heard, all that runs in windows can run in Linux but I doubt somehow since most portable apps are .exes.

UPDATE: By the way, you may use exes on Linux using WINE. Note that WINE will not be able to run exes as perfect as Windows does.

Yeah... it was FF portable...

Noticed that...none of the programs I've tried to install up to now using wine have not worked as they should...

Luck. Its all you'll need. ;)

Its the reason I'm not very dependent on Linux yet. Probably, I'll get back on Linux once its as the same level as Mac.

Well, I don't really like Windows a lot too, I'm more of a Mac fanboy.

Yeah... but Windows is more common... Its just to b able to do wat others do that I leave windows on my pc... n because Office n some other programs don't work on linux... else, Windows would not have remained on my pc for long... ^^

But, I've never tested Mac... so, i don't really know how it works...
