How very rude of these people.

Confirmed by hpHosts.

Iobit is herby guilty of fraud.

Wahl Hell Yeah!! Lets get our Rope!! We aint gonna burn no cross on your front yard, but we will shore as hell roast some marshmallows on the cross somebody else has lit!!"

Malwarebytes has all the street cred of  Eminem.
These are the same Wally's that billed themselves as a "Complete Malware Solution" yet bitched when they were tested  as such!! (EMSI tests+ earlier SSupdater Tests.)

The motivation?
How about quashing an up and coming rival in the already crowded arena of
"antispyware/anti malware"?

Believe what you want.
I believe Malwarebytes is so crooked, they have to screw their pants on.

We also have many various sources of malware samples from warm-hearted users, computer security fans, and major security groups from all over the world. We have admitted that it’s hard to avoid mistakes, like a silly or duplicated name. But there is in no way means we steal Malwarebytes’ or any other's database. We are investigating and tracking on those items which Malwarebytes declared stolen.

MalwareBytes never released their "fake" detections into the wild. There's no way they could have been submitted by users.

Either MalwareBytes is lying, or IOBits is.

I know who I believe.

The "truth" shall prevail, must that be the reason why we should stop this?

No, I dnt think so...Someone has got to pay for "their" deeds, reaping "their" fruits that "they" bore...

Justice be done my friends..^^ :)

Time to get rid of it and the rest of their software.  :'(
I did it quite some time ago. I lost confidence when then did Advanced Windows Care a shareware.
Time to get rid of their Defragmentation tool...

IOBit Theft Conclusion
Quote
Nevertheless, IObit did subsequently remove all of Malwarebytes' definitions from their database (thereby cutting their database size by ~40% in one fell swoop). Though we did not receive an apology from them, nor any official acknowledgment of their theft, this reaction speaks for itself. Removal of our intellectual property was what we wanted, and we therefore consider that we have won. We thank the community, online media outlets and our partners for their support in helping us achieve this favorable result.
