Avast clashing with Online armor, I think

Hey

Recently a green thing came up saying there was a new version for avast.

So I updated. I restarted and for some reason avast resident scanner ddnt open on startup, but i got a whole load of pop up warnings from online armor saying that avast wants 2 access stuff so I let it go...

But I just checkd now, lol , and it says that its blocking avast on startup but Im not sure how to change it so it allows it.

I cant find the resident scanner start up exe..

Hi Troops,

I used to use Online Armor, so I will try to help...

-When you open up the program you will see a menu on the left,
-Click on programs
-You should see the list of programs in the main section of the window --> find entries for avast! - I'm pretty sure that they are labelled avast!
-Click on them (I think you may be able to do multiple with 'Ctrl' button, but not sure)
-At the bottom, I think there are the options (ask,allow,deny...)
-Once you have selected the avast! entries, click on allow and they should change to green.

You may need to do this for the Autoruns section also.

Once this is done, try a re-boot and see if avast! starts up.
