DVD with viurs on it????

I think I have a DVD with a virus on it.
How do I set up Avast to scan the DVD?
Just want to check it out to make sure.

Put the dvd in the dvd drive but do not play it > go to My Computer > right click the dvd drive > select to scan the drive with avast.

Hi iddawg717,

There is an option to scan DVDs in the interface
Once you have started the SUI, click on the removable media button (middle one) and leave CD/DVD checked.

EDIT:Didn't see CharleyO's post, it is probably the easier way to do it also ;)
