I am curious how i can disabling message scanning ???... I have avast 4 home and use outlook express ...

You can either stop the Internet Mail resident provider (from the resident protection control window), or you can run the Mail Protection Wizard (from the Start Menu) and instruct it to remove the protection from your e-mail accounts.

Why would you not want the email messages to be scanned?

Is there a problem?

Why would you install a great anti-virus program and then proceed to cripple it?

Arround 80%+ of all virus infection gets into our computers through infected email.

Recommendation - Leave well alone unless you have a specific problem (leave the Internet Mail protection enabled), in which case let us know.
