No server list when pressing "Detect Server" button...
« on: September 02, 2009, 10:25:41 AM »
Hi.

I managed to install the ADNM on our server, the database was created and both services (Mirror HTTP Server and Management Server) are running. But when I try to login to the management console, the list of servers stay empty when I press the "Detect Server" button. See attached error log - it had a 0x00002AFC error - something about winsock... I typed in "localhost" into the server edit box, and supplied the default password, but no go.

For good measure, I've attached all the log-files. May I also mention: I tried to install the ADNM on another server first, and it kept on failing during the mirror-downloads - so I uninstalled it and installed it on a MS Windows 2000 server. The installation (non-MSDE) worked, but I had to delete the database of our MS SQL Server 2005 and re-create it to get the services running properly.

Please advise.
