On-Access Scanner Messages
« on: September 19, 2009, 05:54:47 PM »
Hi,
How do I turn off the On-Access Scanner messages?  It is continuously blocking out the web pages that I am on.  It is behaving like irritating Pop Ups.

Hi CodysGirl,

This setting is not normally on by default.
To turn it off:

Left click avast tray icon--> more details --> scroll to webshield --> click customise --> advanced tab --> UN check 'show detailed info on performed action'

You may also have to do this for other providers if the settings have been changed else where.

It seems that you've changed the avast settings without knowing what you were doing...
This is an option disabled by default. You can turn it off going to the Standard Shield provider settings, Advanced tab an unchecking 'Show detailed information on action performed'. You can do this for the other providers too.

It is all fixed and is running than before.  Cool.
