What is this babylon?
A theme
Click on 'profile' at the top of the page --> 'look and layout preferences' --> where it says: 'current theme...' click change.

Babylon is the best one I think

You now know it is a theme, but I think it is the best laid out theme for how I work in the forums, but it does have its flaws; even with those I wouldn't switch to the others.
Windows 10 Home 64bit/ Acer Aspire F15/ Intel Core i5 7200U 2.5GHz, 8GB DDR4 memory, 256GB SSD, 1TB HDD/ avast! free 24.2.6105 (build 24.2.8918.824) UI 1.0.799/ Firefox, uBlock Origin, uMatrix/ MailWasher Pro/ Avast! Mobile Security

With Babylon theme Tech's stars become red X for me but the forum does look crisper.

Yep, that's IE8 for you ;)

You can see the asterisks still though...

Its not IE8  ;)

Each theme has its own image folder.
Inside that folder are the images for that theme.
The starfile images (rank images) for Techs stars are not in the folder for the Babylon Theme so they are showing up as red x's - Im sure if Tech asked them they would copy them over to that folder too.

The online/offline images are totally separate and exist in all of the themes folders so you are having no problem seeing those.

(I run a simplemachines forum so I know the paths/folders - thought I'ld clear that up for ya)

;)

Man... should I complain about my stars or this is too much useless self-worring...

All they gotta do is copy the image over -  its one image - they have it set to display it X amount of times for you.    Ask em -  Im sure they'll do it - simple fix  ;)

Fair enough, I don't run any forum, so have no idea, thanks for the correction :P

I suppose I should have said it like this then:

Yep, if you use IE8, because it cannot handle the missing image - firefox just deals with it...Yes!! Firefox wins ;D

Yes, and the colour of your name - You've got to stand out :P

Yeah I know firefox can't see it either, just meant that IE8 'moans' more with a big red x

I guess any excuse to knock IE8 by the Firefox fanboys gives them their jollies:
