Avast! Web scanner making ALOT of connections.

Hi, The avast webscanner makes alot of connections, according to COMODO FW I once had 140 connections at once (most of them were avast webscanner) . It slows down my internet sometimes. I think it started happening when I updated to the newest version of Avast! Is this normal??

WebShield does not make connections. It just scan them. If you're opening browser tabs, WebShield goes there to scan these connections. They appear and disappear. It's normal.

Although I'm using version 5 and the connection (traffic) is scanned by avast service.
